The Challenge
GCIP were approaching the end of their energy contracts and were concerned about the impact that rising costs would have on their business.
They didn’t have the internal knowledge of the energy markets and were vulnerable, therefore they approached their accountant for support and they introduced Seemore Energy.
Our Approach
Following our introduction, we recognised their existing contracts were actually higher than the current market, therefore we were able to put them at ease immediately by presenting a saving.
Furthermore, due to their company SIC code, we identified they were eligible for an energy discount scheme which they hadn’t yet applied for.
The Result
Following the conclusion of the procurement exercise, we helped GCIP facilitate new energy contracts that delivered a 27% annual saving for the business, combined across Electricity and Gas.
We were also able to successfully apply for the discount scheme which achieved a further 13% annual saving for the business, resulting in a 40% saving overall.
Since being introduced to SeeMore Energy, GCIP have reduced their energy cost by 40% pa and continue to receive further value in the form of our Customer Service, Invoice Validation and Query Management support.
